What to do if your hot and cold water is cut off?

If your hot and cold water is cut off, here is the procedure to follow:

• Check if it is only in your room or in the whole house.
• If the breakdown is only localized on one piece of equipment in your room, descale the concerned tap.
• If the fault is located on all the equipment in your room, check the water shut-off valves (see house guide)
• If the fault is in the whole house, check that the boiler is working properly.
• If the fault is in the whole street you can contact your local water company.
