A piece of equipment is blocked, what should I do?

In the event of a blocked appliance, the following procedure should be followed:

• Unscrew, empty and clean the drain (for washbasin, sink and shower tray)
• Pour a large spoonful of baking soda, then a glass of white vinegar.
• Leave for about 15 minutes, then pour in very hot water.
• Leave to act for a few hours.
• If this procedure is not effective, use a plunger or a ferret to dislodge the potential blockages.
