What is an entry inventory of fixtures?

An inventory of fixtures must be made when the keys are handed over on the day the lease is signed and then attached to the lease contract. This document describes the state of the accommodation and its equipment when the tenant enters the premises. A new inventory of fixtures will be made when the tenant leaves the accommodation and returns the keys. In case of dispute, the comparison of these 2 documents allows to establish the responsibilities of each party and to define the associated penalties.
